The main destination of tourists come to this town is its diving site called Bunaken National Marine Park. The site is well known for the richness of its underwater biodiversity. It offers a wide variety of fishes, corals and other species. The aquatic ecosystem has attracted tourists, especially divers to explore Bunaken National Marine Park.
Though the town is popular for diving, there is still another reason why tourists must visit North Sulawesi. As an island in Indonesia, the town is also offers cultural attraction and its natural beauty including Lake Tondano.
