Brunei Darussalam is a small country but is a rich country as a part of Southeast Asia. This country is located in Borneo island, facing South China Sea and surrounded by Malaysia. Brunei is a constitutional sultanate and Islamic state. The most population is Malay (67%) and Chinese for minority around 15%. There are 4 districts in Brunei Darussalam, Brunei or Muara where Bandar Seri Begawan, the capital city of Brunei is located, Tutong which covers tropical forest, Belait for country's petroleum industry and Temburong. The area of Brunei is all jungle making Brunei is humid throughout all year. Rain falls from September to January. Brunei is a safe country where tourist must not be worried about typhoons, earthquakes or severe flooding.
All Southeast Asia citizen can enter Brunei without VISA as well as US, UK, Japanese, Canadian and New Zeland Citizen. Other citizen requires VISA. Tourist can enter Brunei in different ways, first by plane landing in Brunei International Airport (BWN). Other options is using land road, by car or bus from Sarawak Town to Temburong, then by ferry from Kinabalu in Sabah or from Labuan to Serasa Ferry Terminal at Muara. Making a social activities with Bruneian can be done easily since they can speak English well even still using Malay as its official language. Mandarin and other Chinese dialects are also used, mostly by Chinese.
Malay culture are highly known in Brunei. Foods and drinks are served with similar taste as Malaysian. The most famous food is Nasi Katok which is a mix of curry beef, chicke and rice. Tourist who love leissures and shopping can spoil themselves in Bandar Seri Begawan. Brunei is also a right place to see a virgin rain forest.
